Both me and my husband have been POM Juice lovers since past couple of years, and recently, POM was kind enough to send me a package of their products to sample and review. Besides POM Juice, their product range includes fresh POM Pomegranates, the light & refreshing POM Tea that comes in several flavors, and POM Pills. The Juice we sampled was vibrant and tart, and tasted just like fresh pomegranate. In fact, with no additives, its as healthy as eating the fruit, just without the pain of “juicing” one yourself!
This Martini recipe is just one example of how POM products can combine flavor and health in one glass! Their desserts are a totally different story altogether! But for now, here’s the Pomegranate Martini that won my heart! We served a Mocktail version of this recipe at a dinner last week (which I’ll post on my blog pretty soon), and it was a huge hit!
Ingredients
1 oz. freshly squeezed pomegranate juice or POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 1/2 oz. grapefruit juice
1/2 oz. sour mix, or 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime
1/2 oz. simple syrup (equal parts sugar and cold water dissolved together)
Spiraled orange rind for garnish
Ice cubes
Directions
Assemble all ingredients in bar or mixing glass. Shake well with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with spiraled orange rind, and enjoy your delicious Pomegranate Martini with a loved one!

As for the event, anything is fine, any cuisine, any course type, as long as it’s vegetarian, and is worthy of being served to guests on a holiday dinner:)

And Mansi, are there any restrictions for the Thanksgiving event? I mean, only fancy stuff or non Indian stuff?
I have a bread recipe (non-Indian)I am working on, that is the reason I ask.
